Collection and Publication of Diversity Data
We are aware of and respect the requirement to publish diversity data. Our Diversity Data Officer is Mark Johnson. He can be contacted on 01625 260577, mark.johnson@elderflowerlegal.co.uk.
Our policy is to ask members of staff if they wish to volunteer information about diversity, using the model questionnaire in the BSB Handbook, which will be anonymised and held in confidence. Members of staff must give their explicit consent to the collection of such information.
Given the small size of our workforce, the collection and publication of such data would be of very limited value and our staff members have not consented to the collection of such information given the risk of identification of individuals from such a small sample.
Access statement
Elderflower Legal is entirely based within ground floor premises at Chestnut House 23 Ryles Park Road, Macclesfield, Cheshire SK11 8AH. Our premises are fully accessible to wheelchair users. Visitors are invited to discuss any specific arrangements that they need with one of our team on 01625 260577.
If you are considering applying for a position with us and have particular access needs, please raise these with our Head of Finance and Administration (jayne.johnson@elderflowerlegal.co.uk) and we will take any reasonable steps that we can to meet those needs.
Our Principal Mark Johnson is a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly, which is your guarantee that he has obtained qualifications and experience in dealing sensitively with the particular needs of older clients. The qualification focuses on understanding the key illnesses and frailties of old age and vulnerability – hearing, sight, capacity, mobility, dementia, so that SFE members are able to provide the best support to their clients, to help them to make their wishes understood and are able to act in their best interests. SFE members are also bound by a strict Code of Conduct which you can view here.
